Let's Talk about Temperature!
Temperature is a remarkably difficult measurement to take. For example...
What is the temperature in your house?
Most people answer 75 degrees F or 21 degrees C or whatever their thermostat says.
But here's the thing...That's not completely true. If we went to their basement or their attic, the temperature would be different. If we measured it all day throughout the house, there would be variation, lots of it!
Climate change deniers love to constantly roll out temperature measurements that are suspect, hard to understand, appear to be manipulated or are just wrong. Sometimes, in specific cases, with specific measurements, they are right. Scientists are humans and individuals and occasionally they make mistakes. But not all of them, and not all the time!
As we improve our ability to measure temperature and the different ways that we measure it we are finding more and more, the temperature of the Earth is going up. There is not question about it.
(P.S. Even my "friend" Patrick Moore states that there has been global warming in his latest video. He just won't admit that humans are the cause of it. More on that tomorrow.)
